Origin of the name:
The name "Gateless Garden" is inspired by the idea that ultimate Peace is ensured only when all creatures trust all others, when gate, fence, and weapons are no longer needed to protect us from others.
Current Layout:
Version: Version 4.0 - Hope
Featuring: Kelly Chen Wai Lam
Pictures credit: HKZone Forum
Fonts: Amazone BT, Verdana
Program used: Photoshop 7
Explanation: I was browsing through my pictures collection and found Kelly's picture. Tried to make a layout, and here it is. I used Kelly's song "Hope" as my title of this layout.
Past Layouts:
Version: Version 3.0 - Floweret
Featuring: Cass Peng Ling
Pictures credit: CD Cover
Fonts: Champignon Semi-Bold, Verdana
Program used: Gimp
Explanation: Cass looks beautiful and serene in the pictures of one of my old CD cover, so I just scanned and use them to make the layout. I was aiming for a spring-feel layout, which I am pretty happy with the result and the color scheme.
Version: Version 2.0 - Warm Winter Wish
Featuring: Sally Yip See Man
Pictures credit: Gettyimages, an old casette cover of Sally Yip
Fonts: Handscript SF Ultra-Light
Program used: Gimp
Explanation: Christmas is fast approaching, so I thought about incorporating Winter into this theme. This layout used blue and white as basis. Ms. Sally Yip has been my mother all-time favorite singer since longer than I am living, and I love her songs as well. I was listening to one of her old casette tape and found that the cover fit the mood of my layout, so I scanned it myself and used them. Just like the title, I wish that everyone's Christmas will be safe and warm!!!
Version: Version 1.0 - Songbird's Solo
Featuring: Joey Yung Cho Yee
Pictures credit: Asianfanatics, Yahoo
Fonts: Bookman Old Style Light, Edwardian Script ITC Semi-Expanded
Program used: Gimp
Explanation: First time experiencing with html, so the layout is very simple. Not exactly remember why I chose "Songbird" as the theme, but the "songbird" picture that I found in Yahoo search engine inspired me to make this layout green. And Joey's pictures really match with the color, so that's how this layout came about.
